We are proud to announce the addition of Skyler Lynch, PA-C as our new full-time Physician Assistant. Skyler will serve in this role for Eye Consultants of Texas as well as LoneStar Ambulatory Surgery Center (LSASC), our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center within our facility.

Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Phillips Kirk Labor, MD says a very small percentage of ophthalmology practices have a full-time Physician Assistant on staff.

“It’s extremely rare, and we’re one of only a few eye care practices in the U.S. to take this important step. Having a highly credentialed PA like Skyler is in keeping with our mission to continually lead in innovation. More importantly, this broadens and further strengthens the already high-quality medical care we offer each patient. We’re very excited about this to say the least.”

Skyler’s versatile medical background uniquely prepares her to excel in her new position and become a true asset to our practice and Dallas-Fort Worth patients.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. She continued her studies, earning a diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology at Grace Institute of Neurophysiology and Technology in Dallas, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY.

In addition to PA-C, Skyler holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

As a PA-C, Skyler’s previous work experience includes treating chronic vein and leg issues, as well as caring for ER/Urgent Care patients. In addition, she has worked extensively in sports medicine, in neuromonitoring of patients during surgery, and supporting adolescents and adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency issues.

Skyler is married and resides in Granbury with the family’s three beloved dogs, Cooper, Corbin, and Dexter.
